Ok I thought I had it figured out. So then I went into creative mode and still didnt have it figured out. I no longer want to add to my quota of exploded engines. It is getting expensive.
In the attached picture I have 2 Combustion engines, 1 Pump (water) 1 Stirling Engine.
All the connections (except out going which are wood) are gold for power and 'stone' for water.
The pipes/engines do not stay full.
I even switched it over to everything gold (not pictured) and my pipes/engines would not stay full of water.

What am I missing? I would assume one water pump powered by 2 Combustion engines would suffice.
Wait does there need to be an 'engine' on the wooden water pipe?
OK I feel stupid.... The pump appears not to need the wooden water pipe....... /bang head on keyboard.... :D
